how much is my 1976 australian half new penny coin?

on one side it has the picture of the queen and the letters DG REG FD
now on the other side it has a crown.

If what the user above said is true about Aussieland not haveing pennies in 1976, then the coin is most probably from Canada. If that is so, I highly doubt that your coin is worth much as the minting process has become very advanced and for the past few decades they make coins by the billions per year.

The value of an Australian 1935 One Penny King Georege V on back?

The coin is in excellent condition with legible writing and picture of King George V.

The 1935 Australian penny actually has King George V on the obverse (front) not the reverse (back). It had a mintage of 3,725,000 so is not a rare coin. As with all low denomination coins they are worth more in the country that minted them then other countries. Here in the states we collect the cent but in Europe they don't, they like our gold and Morgan silver dollars. Depending on grade it is worth .25-$1 and can be found in a dealers world coin box for around the 25 cent price. It is valued around $5-$10 in mint state grades. I kind of like the coins of George V due to the crown and robe he wears. The coins are more a piece of art work than money.

What is a 1927 Australian penny worth???

I have a 1927 Australian penny. On the backing it has King Goerge v and on the front it has the words ONE PENNY in the middle of the coin. It it is not in mint condidtion and i have no idea of where i found it. It's very bronzed/rusted. And i just wanted an estimate or an approximate answer on how much it would be worth.
I used to collect old coins and now they're just wasteing my space and it would be greatly appreciated.
Please and Thankyou.
ANd it would be super if you could find it out instead of copying it of some cheap wesite. Thanks.

probably bout a 1,000 to 1,000,000 dollars

the value of a 1912 australian one penny?

plz dont say check ur coin dealer or stupid comments like 1 cent i kno its worth more

To properly value a collectible coin, you need to authenticate it and determine it's condition (grade). In the most popular catalog of World Coins, your 1912 Australian Penny shows retail values from $2 (for Fine grade) to $200 (for Uncirculated). I would expect the "Offer" prices to be about a quarter of their expected retail value.

If someone previously advised you to consult a numismatist or a coin dealer, I don't think that was a stupid comment at all. A high quality picture of both sides of your coin would be a good start, if you can't find a live expert in your area.

Hello, just a question about Value of old coins?

I have a few old coins and am wondering their worth.

NOTE: These are AUSTRALIAN Coins not american, only Australian value please.

Ok, i have :
One Penny made in 1921
One penny made in 1922
One penny 1936
Penny 1938
Half penny 1943
Penny 1944

Also, i am wondering if they have to be in perfect condition?

Thanks for all your help.

Without cross checking the dates I'm guessing total $1 to $2. I'd recommend e-bay.
