My father was a huge coin collector and gave me loads of coins from a huge jar, from the collection a shiny coin caught my attention. It came with a crinkled paper saying that it was a proof 1930 Australian penny. As i have no knowledge of coins and i'm not interested one bit, i wanted to sell it and find out how much it is worth.
The 1930 Australian Penny had a mintage of only 3,000 circulation coins and 6 proof coins. It is likely you have a replica or counterfeit coin. If it is genuine, it could be worth quite a bit. You should take it to a local coin expert or two for an evaluation. I hope that helps.

I relize details are vauge... they are all in perfect condition. I also relize I need to get them appraised in person. but I really dont know where to go.
I do not believe any of your coins are gold or silver, but they are made of aluminum-bronze, brass, and cupro-nickel metals. Most of them are not very old or rare thus not worth a whole lot, but they might increase in value over time. You have a great start to a world coin collection.
US Lincoln "wheat" Cents are worth less than a nickel each
1974 Canadian Cent face value
US Indian Head Cents worth less than $4 if you can not read the full LIBERTY on the headband
2009 US WH Harrison Presidential Dollar face value
1955 Mexican 20 Centavos if it matches the coin in the first link AND is pristine (better than the one in the photo) it MIGHT be worth a few bucks. There is another variety worth less.
1984 Mexican 100 Pesos is made of brass no longer legal tender; probably worth less than $1US as a collectible.
1999 Euro from several countries
1994 Australian Mob of Roos $1 coin is aluminum-bronze
1991 British 5 Pence
1997 Mexican 2 Pesos
1970 1 Franc could be from several countries including France, Switzerland, Belgium, several African nations
2005 Chinese 1 Yi Jiao
xxxx Canadian 25 Cents is hard to value without a year
1994 Mexican 10 Centavos
1993 Mexican 1 Peso
1976 US Eisenhower Dollar might be silver or proof which would be worth up to $10US otherwise face value

^^ But in Bronze
The first three coins, and the last one, are British:
1. A Victorian-era Double Florin
2. A King George V bronze coin, which could be a farthing (1/4 penny), half-pence, or penny.
3. A Victorian-era Half Crown.
5. A Queen Elizabeth II penny.
The fourth coin is Australian:
4. A King George V penny.
You can find values for the British coins in this price guide:
http://www.tclayton.demon.co.uk/values/c oins.html
Note that a) those are retail prices, what a dealer in the UK might charge a customer in their shop, so the prices you might get would be less; b) for coins with little wear and a lot of detail, as even a "Fine" coin in the UK is in excellent condition; and c) in Pounds, so multiply by 2 to get US Dollar prices. Even so, this guide can let you know if any of your early British coins might have some value to collectors.
Most Australian pennies, even from the era of King George V, are fairly common and retail for just $0.25 or so. But there are some rarer dates which can bring hundreds of dollars or more.
You can find out more about this by visiting a local library that has the Standard Catalog of World Coins in its reference section, or a local bookstore that carries this book.

Australian proof coin sets celebrate historical figures, events ...
Do you like to collect different types of coins from different regions of the world? In Perth, Western Australia, gold and silver is refined and turned into proof grade coins, bullion products and Australian proof coin sets . Some of the proof sets that they create celebrate historical figures, events or unique and interesting themes. What I like about these sets is that they usually come in a beautiful display case or presentation packaging that protects the coins from exposure. A numbered certificate of authenticity is usually included which is perfect for collectors who like to guarantee the authenticity of their purchase.
New 2010 Australian proof coin sets from the Perth Mint
When the Perth Mint released its new 2010 Australian proof coin sets I was really impressed with the Australian sovereigns set. This beautiful collection of coins commemorates monarchs from different time periods. If you are a fan of collecting royalty memorabilia you will really like these coins. I bought one of these sets as a long term holding because I figure that they will go up over time. Sets that are crafted from bullion grade gold and silver can be a nice way to invest in precious metals. Proof coin sets can also be great for collectors and make unique gifts for a special occasion.
