Any good sources for coin selling guides?

I have a bunch of older US coins(and one canadian set) that I'm looking to sell. Does anyone know of any websites, books, or any other sources that give good descriptions of the value of coins? Here's a compressed list of what I'm trying to sell:

1981 to 1998 Proof/Prestige/Premier sets
1987 Royal Canadian Proof Set
Kennedy Half Dollars from 1964 to 1985
Silver Dollars 2000, 2001
Quarters 1976
Pennies 1863 to 1986

Any help would be appreciated.

To get an accurate value of the coins you wish to sell, you must know what grades, (for the pennies), they are. An 1863 penny can be worth $5 to $5000 depending on the grade. After that is done, you can check out books from the library, (you can check out the "Redbook" by Yeoman, it is the most important price guide), or simply go to a coin show and see what the asking prices are. If you do not want to go to this work, simply get bids from a few coin dealers as to what they will pay you for them. One caveat about price guides. They are never up to date completely, especially when it comes to bullion items, and they are retail prices, so expect for a dealer to offer you less.

Another good alternative is to sell them on Ebay. Yes, sometimes coins go too cheap, but most times they sell for what they are worth, and sometimes for more.

A silver 1890-O Morgan dollar is worth between $15 and $40 in circulated grades. A silver 1902 Barber Half Dollar might have a mint mark and is worth up to $50 if you can not read the full LIBERTY. The 1925 Indian/Buffalo 5 Cent might have a mint mark: plain $2 and $50; D $10 and $300; S $5 and $300. A 1903 Indian Head Cent is worth up to $4 if you can not read the full LIBERTY. A silver 1944 Winged Liberty "Mercury" Dime might have a mint mark and is worth between $1 and $7 in circulated grades. The two proof Washington Quarter Dollars are worth about $6 each if like new. The Kennedy Half Dollar description is kind of confusing but the proofs are worth about $8 if like new. The "p and d coin sets" would depend upon the year and whether they are US, uncirculated, silver, or proof, but most are less than $10 each. A silver 1965 Canadian Dime is worth between $1 and $1.50 in circulated grades. A silver 1962 Canadian Quarter Dollar is worth between $2.50 and $3 in circulated grades. The gold plated coins contain very little gold and are not worth much. All the rest are typically not worth much more than face value unless you have rare Lincoln Cent date, silver, or proof coins. Please check the links below for further information. I hope that helps.

Without knowing the series of the note no one can help you. 1989 dollar $10.50. 1989 proof set $5.50. I don't know what you mean U.S. Liberty coins 1886-1986 for no series ran for those dates could they be medals or tokens? Silver one cent on back need date at more info. Wooden Nickel .25-$1.00. 4th president coin is a medal and it depends on size and what metal it is made of. The colonial money is most like a copy, a dealer needs to see it. The buffalo nickels may have a mint mark it is located on the buffalo side at the bottom under the words five cents. You need to check that out first. A 1900 Canadian 5 cent silver sells for $3 and up depending on condition. Sear coin is a medal .50-$1. You would do better to not list so many things at ones.

The Indian Head Half Eagle coin was designed by sculptor Bela Lyon Pratt. It was minted in Philadelphia, Denver, New Orleans, and San Francisco from 1908 to 1929. The fine details of these coins are remarkably well-preserved due to the unique incused design in which the images and script are recessed into the gold rather than being raised from the surface. The "Indian Head" features an American Indian with full headdress on the obverse and a standing eagle on the reverse.
