I have a Canadian 1935 One Cent coin, how much is it worth?
Collectors value not face value.
My mistake its 1933.
A 1933 Canadian 1 Cent is worth $0.10US in G-4; $0.15US in VG-8; $0.20US in F-12; $0.40US in VF-20; $1.25US in XF-40; $4US in AU-50; and $12US or more if like new. I am going to say if the coin in the link below was a 1933, it would be worth less than $2US. I hope that helps.
The coin is all in one peice. The condition is "good". It's a deep, bronzy color. The intricate design is very visible. It almost appears to have a soft silvery sheen when you twist it in the light. It says "VICTORIA DEI GRATIA REGINA". Any helpful information about this particular coin and it's value?
"Wa! Wa! Waaaaaa!"
It sounds like your coin actually grades above grade good which by the way is a low grade. With your description it may be in extra fine grade, that being the case it would trend for around $8 and if almost uncirculated grade around $20. It had a rather high mintage for the 1890's cents and only the 1899 had a mintage higher. The above prices are trends that means they are an average of what the coin sells for, Dealers pay less and as with Canadian coins in the U.S. you need to find the right dealer to sell it too. U.S. dealers who do not deal in Canadian coins will pay a lot less or not want it. Canadian large cents started after the U.S. stopped making there's. They can be divided up by who reigned in Great Britain at the time. You of course have Queen Victoria who had a long reign and was a person I admired. She was a gutsy Lady. With U.S. coins going out of sight in price a collection of Canadian large cents can be put together without bankrupting a collector, that is as long as you don't go for some of the rare varieties of 1859 or 1891. The worst hurdle is the 1858 which trends for $70 in grade very good but can be bought cheaper than the trends price. Most of the rest are $10 and below, most way below. With your discription the coins sounds like it is in nice shape and is a keeper. The value only has one place to go and that is up.

I have four one dollar coins and one 5 cents. Need to sell them - WHERE?. Live in the USA.
Any bank can exchange the dollar bills. For the nickel - just spend it. The discount rate on canadian money isn't worth calculating it for small change.
What would the value be?? I have tried to clean it but it is still quite tarnished ... it's probably been exposed to the weather for at least 100 years. (found in woods while walking). Any advice??
Interesting find. Did you find it with a metal detector? or just on the ground in the woods. I wouldn't have cleaned the coin because it decreased the value but as long as you didn't damage the coin it shouldn't effect the value much. I am not sure of the value, I collect U.S. coins. If you could find a coin dealer in your area I'm sure he could tell you the current value of your coin it would be smart to take it to more than one coin dealer if you could. well, I hope this helps answer you question.
