I would like to put my coin collection in an album but I am having a difficult time finding an album and album pages for my 2x2 hard plastic coin holders. Most of my coins are in these types of cases and I find they are better at protecting coins then the 2x2 cardboard holders.I have found several albums for 2x2 cardboard coin holders but nothing for hard plastic cases, such as the H.E. Harris plastic coin holders or the Whitman plastic holders
There are no albums that I know of for the hard plastic 2X2's made by harris or Whitman. There is a company called Eagle that has hard plastic cases and there own album. www.eaglecoinholders.com. Coin World the weekly coin magazine also has a hard plastic case and a special album. From them in order to get a discount you must get their magazine but they will sell to others but without a discount. www.coinworld.com or if a subscriber like I am I go to www.amosadvantage.com. Another place to try for there are new products all the time is www.brooklyngallery.com they are a large dealer in supplies for coins and stamps and have a huge inventory. Others to try are www.jpscorner.com they carry some of the coin world items. Hope this sets you on the right road.
horrible camera work
It has been 25 years since I saw these.
I don't remember the plastic holders for coins but I remember the plastic holders for bank cards. Those were great. I have three of them.

More room for extra rolled coins.
Slots for quick check of contents.
Capacity and denomination displayed at both ends.
It is round, holds only one quarter and is used to transport coins through the mail. I want to remove it to place into a display Dansco album. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Put it in the freezer until the quarter shrinks, then tap it on the countertop.

Easy to load.
Simply drop coins into tube until excess spills from slot. Insert wrapper, invert and coins are counted and wrapped in one exact roll. Four color-coded tubes (red, blue, green and orange) for pennies through quarters. (Coin wrappers sold separately.).
Set-up requires little effort.
I need a simple coin holder and or organizer just so I can keep all my quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies, together. And so I know how much more I need to roll them. I currently have them separated in small bags but.... More coins= more weight and we all know plastic can only take so much! I have been looking online but all I can find are these big fancy and expensive ones that you dump them all into it and it sorts them and tells you the value. I don't want OR need all that.
http://www.amazon.com/Ultra-Sorter-Motor ized-Coin/dp/B00007L12F will give you one for about $30

they have them for as little as $5 to $20.
The console of my car has several cylindrical cutout sections to hold cups or change. For some reason, my son put a jar of honey in one which leaked and left a gooey, sticky mess at the bottom - gluing coins together and to the bottom of the cup holder. Soda and other sugary drinks have been spilled or have leaked in the others, with the same result.
I want to pour some kind of solution in there to dissolve this mess and clean the sections - but what to use? Regular dish soap? Vinegar? Fantastik or other cleanser?
My thought was to pour something in there and leave it overnight.
The console is all molded plastic.
Just water would dissolve the goo.=)

Warning: Don#39;t Use Plastic Coin Holders Made With ...
Many plastic items contain PVC. PVC is often found in the piping that plumbers use in homes and businesses. PVC is also found in a variety of other plastic items, including many older coin holders. This is bad.
Why? Because PVC can damage coins . The damage to coins contained inside coin holders made with PVC is often irreversible and causes coins to lose much, if not most, of their value.
PVC was popular in coin holders during the 1970s because the chemical allowed plastic coin holders to be pliable. However, during the early 1980s, the dangers of PVC became known, and production of coin holders containing PVC soon declined. Yet, many of the old PVC coin holders still exist, and you have to be careful to not accidentally place any of your coins within them.
