I just bought a bag of (maybe) 100 or so small 1.5" plastic zip-lock baggies from the dollar store, that I was going to use to hold some collectible coins.
But then I found some proper plastic coin sleeves from a coin dealer. Now I have a whole bunch of baggies. It's the kind that street-level drug dealers use. The problem is, I don't deal drugs and I don't think I'm going to start anytime soon.
Any ideas on possible uses? Thanks.
Use them to organize stuff.

I have couple of hundred coins and had been storing them in plastic sleeves in folder but british museum has just told me that plastic will slowly destroy them over 10 years this is not good i went back shop and they suggested either more expensive non acidic plastic folder (which apparently will not attack the coins) or paper sashes what would answers suggest or advice me to do
You have several options. I am not sure what these might be called in the UK, but the link below shows three options for you: 2x2s, safety flips, or gallery holders. The harmful plastic that you are asking about contains PVC, polyvinyl-chloride (sometimes simply called vinyl). Clear polyester sheets with pockets to organize certain of these coin holders in ringed binders are also available. Another option you have is coin folders which are typically made to hold specific sets of coins and usually made of cardboard, but beware of certain chemicals because some cardboard holders contain traces of chemicals like sulfur though much less often than in decades past. Please check the links for much more information, and further options.

These are books for collecting your smashed or elongated pennies of the type you get in machines outside souvenir shops or at tourist attractions. They were small books with several plastic pages and had a hard plastic binding. Inside you could slip the coin completely in to the plastic sleeves on each page. Seems like the only ones available for purchase anymore are trifolds where you slip in the coins but the plastic only covers the middle of the coin. These new kinds are also tall, and the old one I'm looking for was more squarish. I have three of these, one from Wall Drug, one from Oregon and one from San Francisco. Do they not make these anymore? I just don't care for the new ones being sold.
Are you talking about the little blue books? Does your Oregon book have the Heceta Head lighthouse?
These are still available in a few places. They are also listed on ebay occasionally. Some locations that I know have these penny books are the Sea Lion Caves in Florence, Oregon; San Francisco; Enchanted Forest in Salem, Oregon and One Log House in Piercy, California. I have never been able to figure out who manufactures them.
There are a few elongated coin discussion groups on Yahoo Groups. If you join elongatedcoin there may be people who can get some of the books for you (though you should be prepared for a lecture on the evils of PVC -- it can eventually damage your pennies)

What are vinyl sleeves and what are they used for?
Vinyl sleeves are made of two pieces of plastic, usually PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) that have been sealed together using heat or RF (radio frequency). The two pieces of vinyl are sealed together on three sides to form a pouch that can be used to store various (mostly flat) items or documents. The most common uses for plastic sleeves are page protectors, presentation sleeves, menu covers, or business card holders . The PVC sleeves are preferred for presentation materials as they are very clear, without significant distortion while also being mostly impermeable. This protects the documents from many environmental factors which is why these covers are commonly used for archiving documents. Vinyl or plastic sleeves are also used for menu holders as they are easy to clear and protect the menu from deterioration from constant use.
